Major Airports in Egypt
Cairo International Airport (CAI)
Cairo International Airport is a huge facility that sits about 15 km northeast of the city center. It has 3 terminals and all the important signs are posted in English so finding your way around is generally easy, but beware of taxi and hotel touts as they are guaranteed to find you as you wait for your luggage. Taxis into the city tend to be cheap, but agree on a price before you begin the journey.
