  • Get credit card approvals to issue the tickets

If during this process any questions come up, we will contact you by phone or email to clarify the issue. After all is cleared, we will issue the ticket(s) and send a confirmation email with all the travel itinerary details, the ticket number and airline confirmation number to your email within two business days. Once you have received these details via email, your booking is confirmed.
If you do not receive emails as outlined above, be sure to check your Junk E-mail box. If they are not present, then email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will arrange confirmation.

What is my baggage allowance?

International Travel - Baggage allowances vary greatly from airline to airline, therefore we suggest you always double-check what is said on your itinerary and when in doubt contact the airline directly or visit their website.

Domestic travel within the US - Each airline and airfare has slightly different limits so it's a good idea to check their website before you travel. Also, you may find our guide on baggage allowances useful - Baggage Allowances

Most domestic fares will only allow hand luggage. If you are planning to take luggage that will not fit in the overhead cabin you need a ticket that allows checked baggage, or you will need to pay for checked luggage at check-in. Any questions about bulky items, sports equipment (bikes, golf clubs, surfboards etc), or any dangerous items, (firearms, chemicals etc) will need to be taken up with the airline you are travelling with directly.

Can I book travel originating outside the US?

Yes, at Webjet.com you can book flights to and from almost every airport in the world. Simply perform a search to see if airfares are available.

How do I book an itinerary with multiple stops?

In the flights search box select the "Multi-City" option. This will create additional flight fields for you to input origin, destination and date information based on your desired multi segment journey. Webjet will then return results that satisfy all required segments you've requested, and will give you a quote based on the entire journey. Webjet will search all leading airlines, and will mix and match fares to find the cheapest solution possible. Online check-in is available for most domestic airlines. To complete online check-in you will need to visit the airline website and use the airline confirmation number on your ticket to complete the online check-in process.

What taxes apply to my airfare booking?

All applicable airfare taxes will be displayed during the booking process. On the checkout section, you will be shown a trip cost review, including a breakdown of ticket price and the applicable taxes & fees.

All fares shown on our search results page are the average price per passenger including all flight taxes and fees.

Yes, anyone can create a booking for the travelling passengers. When it comes to the checkout section, name fields will be blank, so please update that area with the name of the person that will be travelling. You will then need to read the terms and conditions and tick the acceptance box.

What is the check-in time for domestic and international Flights?

Domestic Flights
This will depend on the airport, time of day, airline and whether or not you're checking in luggage. Generally you should arrive at the airport more than 60 minutes before departure. Always check with your airline or visit the TSA for expected wait times.
International Flights
For international flights, check-in is normally at least 2 hours prior to departure. However, passengers should always check with their airline and airport to find out about recommended check-in times. Certain airports can be notoriously busy, especially at peak travel periods, in which case the airlines may recommend 3 hours before departure.
Please note: that boarding times will be advised by the airline at check-in.

Can I pay with my Debit Card?

You can pay for your trip at Webjet using either your credit card or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards.

Can I pay using an international credit card?

In most cases Webjet.com will accept payment using Visa, Mastercard or American Express cards issued outside of the United States. However, to do so we do require an additional credit card authorization form to be completed. This form attracts an additional $25 (USD) fee to process, which will be charged once the authorization form is completed.

To book with an international credit card please select United States for the billing address country; we will then send to you our electronic credit card authorization form.

Do I have enough time to make suggested connections?

Webjet is committed to offering you the cheapest flight deals for your trip. Sometimes this requires a change of airports at your transfer city (for example you fly from New York to Rome via London and the flight from New York gets you into London Heathrow airport and the connecting flight leaves from London Gatwick airport). We only show you connections where you should have enough time to transfer between the airports. We only recommend these offers to seasoned travelers as there is always a risk of traffic delays or other unforeseen matters that may prevent you from making the connection. Furthermore you need to be aware of Visa regulations, as these transfers require immigration into the country and therefore you might need an immigration visa rather than a transfer visa. Changing airports can be a great way of saving money but please be aware of the possible hassle that comes with the savings.

Which security measures are in place to protect my credit card data?

We want you to feel safe and secure booking your travel with us online. For this reason, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your credit card and other sensitive information when you make reservations for flights. The process of encryption prevents unauthorized individuals from viewing your information as it is securely transmitted over the Internet. Once received, your credit card information is not transmitted over the Internet again.

We also will only ship paper airline tickets to the credit card billing address. Although this may present a slight inconvenience in some situations, it has proven successful in eliminating unauthorized use of credit cards.

I have a confirmation email with booking reference code, does this mean my ticket is issued?

Within minutes of booking, you will receive an email confirmation with a booking reference code which means that your reservation is successfully completed. One of our experienced customer care agents will begin processing your booking. During the quality check and ticketing process, our agents will (among many other things):

  • Check for accuracy of the booking and ensure that no spelling errors occurred, the right airports are selected and that the minimum connecting times at the airports meets the airlines' standard requirements
  • Double-check if we can find an even cheaper fare for your requested flights at the point when we issue your ticket (s) and let you know in case that happens
  • Check if the booked flights require paper ticket issuance by the airlines
  • Match the billing address and other credit card data provided by you with the data provided by credit cards
  • Get credit card approvals to issue the tickets

If during this process any questions come up, we will contact you by phone or email to clarify the issue. After all is cleared, will issue the ticket(s) and send a confirmation email with all the travel itinerary details and the ticket number to your email within two business days. In order to verify eligibility, present your account information at the check-in counter prior to the departure of your flight.

I want to cancel my reservation, what should I do?

Please note: some flight tickets are non-refundable, as per the airlines fare rules.

If you wish to cancel your reservation and inquire about refunds on your particular ticket, please submit your cancellation request using the form found here.

Webjet charges a $50 cancellation processing fee for domestic flights and $100 for international on top of any cancellation penalties imposed by the airlines. Please read and acknowledge our terms and conditions before purchasing tickets.

I have not received a confirmation e-mail? What should I do?
